PERRI COHN
DIRECTOR & PRODUCER
Perri grew up in Long Island, NY, and will receive her MFA in Producing Film and TV from the Peter Stark program at USC this May. The animated film Casey is based on her experiences battling endometriosis with the support of her loving dog Casey. She is so honored to be making a film about her experience with a team of such talented artists. Perri recently adopted an adorable rescue puppy named Sirius.
AMRITA KALSI
PRODUCER & COMPOSER
Born and bred in Montreal, Amrita graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Human Rights. Amrita spent two years with Engineers Without Borders to consult for mobile tech start-ups in education technology and data collection - only to discover her true love, which was filmmaking. While pursuing an MFA in the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC, Amrita interned at Nickelodeon Studios in animation development and Disney TV Animation. She loves anything musical and animated, and is an aspiring cat mom.
CATHERINE VU
ANIMATION DIRECTOR
Residing in the Toronto suburbs, Catherine is a multidisciplinary artist who holds a degree in Film Animation from Concordia University. With a passion for illustration and design, Catherine likes to express herself through the use of colour, whether it be in person or in her art. Having developed a love for cinema and visual storytelling at a young age, Catherine dedicates time to teach art classes to children and youth in her community. She enjoys the little things, like snuggling with her miniature dachshund, Pistache.
